Erica Stokes

Erica Stokes is a distinguished alumna of Tougaloo College, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and an additional Master’s in Education from Belhaven University. Demonstrating her commitment to academic and professional excellence, Mrs. Stokes also achieved a Specialist degree in Leadership and Education from Belhaven University.

Currently, Mrs. Stokes serves as the Dean of Students at Jim Hill High School, where she fulfills a multifaceted role, contributing significantly to the academic and behavioral development of the student body. A passionate educational advocate, Mrs. Stokes firmly believes in its transformational power to shape futures and build stronger communities.

Fredrick Connors

Mr. Connors currently serves as an Academic Dean. Mr. Connors truly loves working with scholars and helping them to strive for greatness. He has been in education for almost 25 years. He has previously been a classroom teacher and the Lead Graduation Coach at Wingfield High School. Also, he has served as the after-school principal for the Wingfield feeder pattern. Wingfield was recognized for having the most significant graduation rate increase in several years during his tenure.

Not only is he known for reaching scholars where they are and assisting them to graduate on time, but he is also known for securing items to give away, such as clothes, food, and water for the Wingfield High School area during the Jackson Water Crisis. This give-away was known around the country as the South Jackson Great Give-away. Mr. Connors was interviewed by news media both locally and nationally. He said, “Scholars will not learn anything if they are thirsty or hungry, so let’s do something about it”.

Mr. Connors holds an Associate's Degree from Hinds Community College. He further holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree both from (Thee I Love) Jackson State University. Additionally, he has completed studies towards an advanced degree.
