Shout Out To Our Track Team

Please join us in congratulating the Jim Hill Track & Field Team for their performances in the JPS-hosted Track Meet on Tuesday, which included 8 other high schools from other districts. 

Jim Hill had multiple athletes with notable performances:

Those athletes were Jo'Niya Spires, who finished 3^rd in the high jump and Deontae Starks, who finished 2^nd in the 400 meter dash in an exciting finish.

In Class 6A State Rankings, Jim Hill currently has 5 athletes ranked in the Top 10 in the state in their respective events. They are as follows:

Deontae Starks- #10 in the boys' 400-meter dash

Iyah Moore-#6 in the girls' Discus

Journee Jones-#5 in the girls' 300 hurdles

Ariyanna Nichols- #4 in the girls' shot put

Tyneko Fishenden-#4 in the boys' 300m hurdles
